You Can Count on Me
This had a firm spot on the playlist for today. The fact that it's going to make Vangie happy is just hard sauce on the old plum pudding. (I made plum pudding one year, btw. It was the nastiest thing that ever came out of my kitchen. Thank heaven for hard sauce).

I've always loved this version. It seems a bit awkward, but musically, it is stunning.
Iwanski, I've never been a gigantic fan of most versions of this tune but something about this one just does it for me. Maybe it's just the juxtiposition of Bing and Bowie...because whoever came up with that idea was a frakking genius.
