Dancing in the Dark
No, we're not. But as you recall, that was one of Bruce's biggest hits in the 80s. So now I've followed the rules and made the requisite tie-in, because I'm not sure when this was recorded. I will say that there were a number of years in the 80s when it wasn't Christmas until I heard this song. One year I'd driven down to be with the folks and this came on the radio just as we hit the driveway. Needless to say we stayed in the car until it was over.

Yay, you're back!
I'm so glad you played this one and not "Merry Christmas, Baby" because I always like this one the best.
As far as I'm concerned, it is from the 80's because I didn't even know who Springsteen was until '84.
David Bowie & Bing Crosby. Was that 80's?
Oh I hope I hope I hope.
I need to find some way to make my puter yell at me when people post. :-)
Good vid..
Me too. In fact, they announced a Christmas song from Bruce on the radio while I was out and about and I got all excited but then it was "Merry Christmas, Baby" and it bummed me out.
Just wait, Eva.
What, "you've got mail" isn't good enough for you, Grish?
I have it set up for my comments that way but like if you post I don't know about it until I looksy and then there's the fact that I have a short attention span..
I know gina has feeds set up somehow that download to her puter and I'm a geek and I don't know how to do it and ...and ...and..was that a video up there?
Man, my life would be so much easier if I knew when my favorite bloggers posted. We've gotta figure that out. Put that on your list of new year's resolutions, would you?
Yeah think I will. I haven't made any resolutions yet so it's #1. :-P
Oh wait I did make a few blogger resolutions earlier. Forgot..
