I Blame the Finger Tree
Something shifted in the universe when the Big Ass Tree came down. It may be nothing more than a small tear in the fabric of the space-time continuum but there is now a black hole in our house. So far it has eaten my cell phone and my kitchen shears. I'm very disturbed.

Oh,this one's easy.
these minor tears in the space-time continuum are not as unusual as one might think,and are realatively(get it?) easy to repair..You'll need some duct tape and 3 mil polyethylene...
...and a little Uranium-235 to retard spoilage :)
Crap, we used up all the Uranium-235 during the Crisis. It's going to take me weeks to get another shipment.

Well as you know I managed to throw the cell back through but I ain't found those dang shears yet.
