Questions I Ask Myself
Spring schedule started today, which means The Child has to be at school at 8am (rather than 8:30am), which means she has to catch the bus at 7:15am instead of 7:45am. Which means that she has to leave the house before I do. Which means she's on her way down to the bus and I'm still in my jammies drinking coffee. Why does this seem so completely delightful to me?

Just guessing but because it reminds you a bit of when you weren't working and she was small and you watched her leave for school in the morning?
Sweet quiet time.
Good guess, Wills, but I drove her to school every morning when she was small.
I think that's it, Mom. And somehow the quiet is more quiet when there is no one there rather than the quiet that exists because someone is still sleeping.
LOL! :)
It's delightful when the kid has to "man-up" before you do in the mornings. you paid your dues. love it. ah. have another sip for me.
Nice to be able to wave bye bye while finishing your coffee I would imagine :)
I love being home alone in my pj's sipping coffee. Something about having to make a house payment make me get dressed.
i agree with mom....alone time is sweet, quiet, coffee adds to the good feeling.....
