Look Ma!

Here's the thing: I'm so proud of myself for figuring this out that it is trumping my self-pride. For lo, if I had any pride I would wait until I looked better to actually inflict myself on you like this. But the "tee" factor in having actually made a movie is just too much to bear. So grab some popcorn and enjoy my first foray into video blogging.

And remember what Thumper's daddy always said, "If you can't say sumpthin' nice..."

It was SO nice to see you in your surroundings again. It made me realize how much I miss you.

Your hair looks fantastic even though I didn't have a hand in it.

Oh. And I from what I could tell, it's just that 24-hour brain tumor that's going around.

I would give you a hug right now, but I don't want to catch your brain tumor and you're, like, two thousand miles away.

Anne, you expect correct grammar from someone with a brain tumor? Puleeze. It's also light bulbs, not "bubs" but I'm not going back to fix that, either. Brain tumor.

I miss you, too, Buck. Pesky 2000 miles. I HATE that.

WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, TURN ONNA THE BUBBLE MACHINE. That was great....how do you guys do the rolling and slidie thing? There will no videos from the attic except for cats and dogs and an occasional bambi. All of you are gutsy. Lorraine, put a hot compress on your face and eyes. Seriously that should ease what I could feel is your brain tumor. I want you to feel better....if I remember correctly you were sick on your birthday as well.

My thought is: If you wanted the spelling corrected you would use spell check...otherwise PFT!

No ice in Florida... just sayin.

If your brain tumor doesn't go away soon, could we have a contest to name it?

Great video! Your funny in real life, not only in writing.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well, Rainey, and I hope you're infinitely better by the time the 14-year-olds start screaming at the video. 'Cuz that seems like it would really hurt your brain tumor.

Superfantastic hair, indeed!

And trust me, I'm so un-tech that the idea of even taking video of myself scares me, so many kudos to you for posting!

p.s. Have you ever checked into CranioSacral therapy?

One take, no edits. That's perfection, people. I'm giving this video 2 thumbs up and 5 koi heads and 9 superfantastics.

Most of those superfantastics were earned during the hair flip.

Rosie, a) I wish my brain tumor was a condition of my sinus issue but alas, it's totally unrelated. 2) I so am getting a bubble machine!

Shut up with your it's 80 degrees thing, Twisi. Beside, it might not be cold there but you've got a case of the Mitts right now. Eeeww.

You think that's funny...wait till I don't have a brain tumor.

Wow, Poodle, praise from Caesar...

SCG, I know, right?

Oh I'm sorry -- I'm home sick today (and yesterday) too, along with the son. This totally goes against the rule that moms should be completely exempt from that whole sickness thing! Seriously, it just chaps my ass, it should just be against the law.

I promised RG about 18,000 months ago that I'd make a video of the dogs. Yeah. I'm still getting around to it. So kudos to you for video bandwagoning while your brain tumor is throbbing. Feel better.

Syd, cranio who?

Cowbell (which I initially spelled "Cobwell"), I'm with you on that moms not getting sick thing. Not unless everyone else in the house is perfectly well and prepared to cater and console. They never are, are they? Bastids.

Which is worse? A brain tumor or ice? You are the cutiest and I am SO glad you jumped off the cliff with the rest of those crazy videomakers.

That's a kickass stove. Is that a convection oven? Or a prosumer? Those babies are too sweet.

I'm feelin' all blah-sey myself,so I'm amazed at your ability to do a video blog with a brain tumor and all.
Bonus points for the Kathleen Turner voice, and superfantastic hair flip!

Booda, one side of the big ass stove has the ability to be convection. Which is sweet when we get the timing wrong during a big dinner party or something. I love my stove.

Slingshot, you need to feel better soon. I'm not down with anyone else getting a case of the brain tumors.

Oh great. You are already the best blogger in America.

But that's not good enough for you, is it? No.

Now you want to dominate vlogging too? You are now going to to be the queen of both blogs AND VLOGS?

You know what you are?

You're Wal-Mart.

Poor darling, even 24 hour brain tumors can be hurtin' things.

And why are you surprised at being able to do this? You're the Woman who showed me how to get those video downloaded and transferred.

Glad you enjoyed it, Greeny!
