The Spouse, watching the linemen. He was such a guy during this whole thing, working security, chopping wood, building fires, helping neighbors, being funny and encouraging to moi. He has many skills which came in very, very handy...not just for our family but for the whole hood. Numerous people commented to me over the days about what a hero he was. Yeah, that's my hero.

What an ordeal. I'm so glad you documented all of this for posterity. Seeing all of these pics makes me sooooo happy that the storm blew over Utah and dumped on Denver instead. Save for the impact said dumping has had on JP's work schedule. Poor lamb.
Thank heaven I'd charged the camera battery...photography was my only hobby during it all.
And I'm glad it missed you, too. It wasn't that much fun.
