Thanks, Alan. I know you're really disappointed about Mike! but I hope you'll get over it. Aren't you proud, you native son?
Bummer, Grish. Of course, if the Dems do what Nancy says they're going to do, conduct-wise that is, I expect mooning other will be frowned up. On the other hand, if there were such a picture it would, perhaps, more accurately be the American people mooning a certain somebody who only has 2 years left in office. 2 years that we just might get through now.
Congrats Lorraine. I'm a little dismayed, mostly because I'm afraid nothing will happen at all on important issues, but this is a pretty typical outcome for year 6 of a two term president, regardless of party affiliation. I hope the Dems mean what they have been saying about bipartisanship and that the moderates are truly moderate.
On a totally different note, I'm watching last night's "Dancing with the Stars" and I totally have the hots for Mario Lopez and the male pro, Max. OMG they are HOT! Any guy who can move his hips like that, well....WOW! (I just HAD to divert from politics for a minute).
Gina, I truly believe that one of the great things about this election is that it was precisely about moderation. What rocks about American democracy is our ability to pull things back to the middle when we swing too far one way or the other. Despite what Rove & Co. want to think, most Americans, regardless of party affiliation, are in fact moderates. It is our great strength and I think Pelosi and Reid both mean what they say. Time will tell but I think you can rest easy.
And I don't watch "Dancing with the Stars" but apparently The Child was watching it when she wasn't checking election coverage so I'll have to ask her about the hotties.

Congrats on a great victory last night, Lorraine. You worked hard for Maria! and you deserve some kudos.
I so looked for a picture of a Donkey mooning somebody but I couldn't find one!
