Well, Looky Here
As I was wading through the papers on my desk (which turns out to be surprisingly benign and not nearly as full of lurking bills and forms to be filled out as I had thought it would be) I found this quote, scribbled on a bit of paper:
"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in. Forget them as soon as you can. Tomororow is a new day; you shall begin it well and serenely". - Ralph Waldo Emerson

That Ralph is a pretty bright guy!
AHHHhh, I needed that.
I think I'm going to scribble that down somewhere and hide it in my desk to be found repeatedly in the future.
I'd scribble it down, but it is already saved on a post-it type note on my computer...one of about 7 or so...
I see we are still separated at birth.
After several months of seeing your name on hinamommy.blogspot.com, I thought I'd finally check out your blog... which I've now discovered is only one of three blogs.
Yes, living for the moment is wonderful, but wouldn't it be wonderful to achieve some kind of perfect balance between living for now and for forever?
Darushalavi, Thanks for stopping by. I adore Hina so any friend of hers...
And yes, it would be nice. I'm going to start working on balancing the two as soon as I get the first part down!
(And don't be fooled by the 3 blog thing...this is the only one that I really attend to with regularity!)
Hey! I'm a quote jotter too! Here's on of my favorites (scribbled in crayon on an old envelope):
"Truth is incontrovertible. Ignorance my attack it and malice may deride it. But in the end, there it is." - Winston Churchill
"Ignorance may attack it . . ."
sorry
