Sometimes, instead of "working", you just have to sing songs, make jokes, talk about your life, eat sandwiches and play games on the boss' iPhone. It's how you get your mojo back so you can do what you have to do.

Absolutely. Some playtime is essential. More workplaces should encourage it.
When I am at work I try to read all my favorite blogs first..then I can concentrate on working. I think

Brain breaks are vitally important in preventing mental breakdowns. Or at least that slightly overwhelmed feeling.
When I was still working in Soul-Sucking Corporate America(TM), I played CDs by my musician friends. That helped too. Especially considering my boss was not particularly accommodating of brain breaks in the office.
Here's to the return of the mojo!
