R.I.P.
Sydney Pollack died yesterday.
I really liked most of his movies but whenever he'd show up on the other side of the camera it made me smile. He had a kind of elegant scruffiness about him that I adored and it made me happy.
He was also married to the same person for 49 years. That's a heck of an achievement.
Rest well, Sydney.

According to a report I heard this morning, Kingba, he was one of the nicest guys in Hollywood.
(shakes head at Eric, Buck and JP) Why are all the men in my life such goofs?

Sydney Pollack and Jackson Pollock were unrelated, by the way.
