Just Doin' My Part, Sir. M'am. What Have You.

First saw this video this morning. Got it again tonight. I'm thinking, there's a reason. So I'm sharing it with you.

This was created by supporters, directed by one of Bob Dylan's kids and is based on one of his speeches. Now all you Hillary fans just keep your panties on. No harm, no foul. But if there's anyone out there who lives in one of the 24 Super Tuesday states who's undecided, well, I'm just sharin' a little Obama love. You gotta admit...it feels really good to feel good.

Yes, we can.

Yes, we can indeed. Though Dems can always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, I'm feeling so hopeful and that is a wonderful thing.

Twisi, I know, right?

KA, I'm beginning to feel that that feeling of hope is going to be the defining thing about this campaign. And not just for us, but for the Republicans, too. I mean, seriously, John McCain as the frontrunner says a whole lot about the desire of a lot of Republicans for a change as well.

Almost makes you want to click your heels, doesn't it?

You're caucusing on Saturday, right?

So I this video last night...I voted for Hillary this morning. I like Obama...but since he decided to bring Donnie McClurkin on board he ticked me off. Donnie preaches anti-gay stuff. I know Obama doesn't agree with him in that arena I just think he could have chose better. But it doesn't matter cause whoever wins I will back.

Sageweb, a) good on you for voting and 2) that's really where the hope is coming from for me...no matter who our nominee is, I'm going to be happy.

I do not know this Donnie McClurken of whom you speak but pft to him.

That's a very cool video -- and I lurve Scarlett Johannsen enough that I might almost switch trains just for her.

I'm with Sage, on both counts. a) Hillary's still my girl, and b) if she doesn't win, I'll gleefully hop on board the Barack Obama train and ride it all the way to November with no regrets.

Red, and there you go. Tickets please. Isn't Scarlett just the bestest?

That was beautiful.

But it actually makes me a little ... wistful.

'Yes we can' has always been available to us and always will and it's not an anthem that belongs only to Americans. Yes we can is an individual's commitment to join others, a pledge to recognize the collective. A promise to think and act as an individual on behalf of all.

I hope, if Obama wins, people can sustain it, will be willing to sustain it without his guidance and cheerleading.

It's why I'm voting for Hillary. Like Eric, I'll be happy if Obama wins. But I have no intention of making him responsible for leading me in MY commitment.

blah blah blah. hahahah. I'm having lots of those outbursts today!!

I voted for Hillary yesterday, but if Obama wins in the convention, I'll be voting for him in November. I'm with Sageweb and Eric on this. After the whole Donnie McClurkin thing, I have to say, I really don't trust Obama's judgement too much, but anything would be an improvement on the Republicans.

Outbursts always welcome, booda.

Sling, I think there are a lot of Republicans who can't do Republicans anymore. I gotta admit, I kinda love that.

Cowbell, we can and we will!

You're going to your caucus on Saturday, right?

Evilgnome, as I told Sageweb, I know not of this evil of whom you speak so I can't comment BUT it is just lovely to me that while the Republicans are trying to figure out who they dislike the least, we Dems are sitting around trying to figure out who we like best! Nice situation to be in.
