On this day in 1937 the Hindenberg caught fire and crashed.
And no, I don't think that's funny but if you've read Stephen Colbert's speech then you know the first thing I thought when I read that historical footnote today.
I repeat, the Hindenburg accident wasn't funny.

Nice work finding a photo of the Hindenburg deck chairs. Although, it appears they've been rearranged.
Good eye, jp! Yes, the one second from the left used to be in the middle. It belonged to Porter Goss.
