Breathing Deep
The engine light in my car is on.
The freezer isn't freezing.
The griddle on the stove died.
The Dog fell and is now hopping around on 3 legs. (Poor fella...lookin' for the man who shot his paw).
But oh, there are beautiful, beautiful roses blooming in my front garden.

but nice job weaving in the dog-looking-for-the-man-who-shot-his-paw jok.
Sounds like a great visit with Monica.
griddles, freezers, engine light....sounds like man's job to fixem. poor Paw-paw
Is there anything more pitiful that a pet with a hurt paw? Especially the look up at you that says "why aren't you fixing this?"
Hooray for roses though. :)
Reminds me of this quote:
"we can complain because the rose bushes have thorns......
or rejoice because the thorn bush has roses"
In the end,and all things considered, life is good in Rainey's Domain!
..and I am so stealing Craig & Diane's quote!
