Old Habits Die Hard

The Spouse is in LA this week. The Child and I are commemorating the event by eating things for dinner that he doesn't enjoy...things like macaroni and cheese and avgolemano soup.

Last night I was all excited to have the bed to myself. I snuggled up smack dab in the middle, with a good book, thinking how great it was going to be to be able to stretch out anywhere I wanted.

I woke up on my side of the bed.

Thats funny, I was thinking last night how I should flip/rotate my bed because I only sleep on one side.

With Laurent in Tokyo the past two weeks and me on the road I found I've ended up doing the same thing. We are creatures of habit aren't we?

Soup sounds weird but Mac and cheese are to die for. Homer gives me my little section of the bed...he hogs the rest. He also sleeps naked.

*hee hee* Iwanski is going to be gone all next weekend (doing some "Obama'ing" *smiles*). I plan on cleaning A LOT--to my satisfaction. :)

I also plan on sprawling over the whole bed when I sleep. :)

Anne, it's a Greek egg-lemon-rice soup...delish.

Lost, I sorta slept on one particular side when it was just me, but at least I had the option of rolling over to the other. You'd think I would have exercised that ability last night, but no.

Willym, truly.

Twisi, I'm making it later this week...I'll post it then. It's yummy.

Sage, I seriously don't know how the whole mac n cheese thing slipped through the vetting process. That is so not happening the next time I get married...

Mols, he's at some geek conference for work.

Rosie, you two are the cutest couple in the world.

MHP, please report back and let me know if, in fact, you actually ever slept on his side. (Betcha won't).

I don't think my ex's ever let me pick a side.
Usually,it was just 'the other'.
Now I'm off to Food Maxx to pick up a couple cans of Campbell's Avgolemano soup.

Haven't made Avgolemano in ages... going to Greece next month maybe I'll wait and have some at my friend Yannis's place - if I can talk him into making it.
