Geek Query
Does anyone know why I sometimes can't delete an email? I have 2 in my box right now that, when I try to delete them, pop up a message that the email was moved, already deleted or that access was denied. Except they haven't been moved, they clearly aren't deleted and why would I be denied access to my own stupid email?
I use Outlook, btw.
Thankyouverymuch.

I'm pretty sure you can't delete e-mails,because homeland security isn't done reading them yet.
..I have a similar problem with Yahoo.I delete them, and I still get a message that I have new mail.Eventually, they go away.
Sling, Homeland Security? Nah, Microsoft is finished yet.
hahahahahaha...like I would know!
I use Outlook at work. Do you know where your inbox is hosted? If it is on a Exchange Server (which means it doesn't reside locally on your pc's harddrive), sometimes that gets out of synch with what you view locally. Eventually it should fix itself. Another thought, you could have a computer virus.
Sling, shoulda figured. Bastids.
Anne, go on with your Apple lovin' self.
Rosie, the title specifically said "Geek Query" just to spare those of you who aren't.
Lost: we have a server here at home so that could be it except The Spouse doesn't seem to have that problem. And I'm pretty sure it's not a virus 'cause I just loaded Avast and did a thorough scan and all that. Plus the little pirate in my computer now tells me every morning that the "virus database is updated". I'm thinkin' we're back to the whole Homeland Security scenario.
