What You've Been Waiting All Week to See

The Hot Suit, the Superfantastic Little Black Dress and Child

Outside the Chapel

Edy's shoes. Which, by the way, got a huge number of compliments. They were dubbed, in one instance, the best shoes of the night. Not to mention that the story of inter-blog sharing amazed and delighted the masses. (Thanks so much, Edy. They were perfect).

I guess we clean up pretty good, Sling. (And I won't tell anyone that you're such a sentimental softie).

You're not talking about me, are you, Pamelamama. Gasp indeed.

You take your time, Renee. I'm still telling the story anyway.

I'm hyperventilating. The dress! The shoes! The Child!
I just called the Iwanskis and told them to take a look. We're all very excited here in Chicago.

Okay, I'm done crying. And you are SO not 49.

No offense Jon, but you could not have done a better job with her hair.

Crap, now I'm crying again...

You all look fabulous...more importantly, The Spouse looks like a guy who loves you. Thank you for wearing the shoes. I am hoping that a bit of good luck, blessing, chi, whatever, rubs off on them and I can find a great guy.

We'll have to roll out a "Bloggerhood of the Traveling Shoes".

Jon, It takes a village. Glad to brighten up Chicago's weekend.

JP, You know how to brighten a girl's day. (I don't think that's what 49 looks like, either. I don't feel a day over 42. Or 28. Sometimes 37.5). Now go blow your nose.

Edy, I hope those shoes are firmly embedded with blessings for you. (Maybe I'll have The Spouse lay hands on them before I send them back). Thank you again so much for the loan!

Y'all look soooo wonderful!! What a beautiful day with beautiful people and a happy celebration! I love days like that.

And to Edy - the shoes! OMG! The shoes! Brava!

Lorraine - we have a little bit of the parallel universe going on ourselves. I have been planning my sister-in-law's wedding for Oct 7 here in Texas. What is it about nuptials (anybody's) that make us so giddy? Maybe it's the fact that we know what a wonderful and blessed journey the newlyweds are about to begin.

Thanks, Jlow. Yep, nuptials are pretty cool, especially when you know in your heart that the couple have everything it takes to make it. Congrats to your SIL.

Thank you, Dena. As for your wishes for the Bride & Groom, from your lips to God's ear.
