Last night I was having wine at The Neighbor's. She admired my ensemble and said, "I should take your picture for your blog". She, like I, feels it important you know that I really don't always look like a Mennonite:
I will agree that you do not look like an Old-Order Mennonite. You could perhaps, be a New Order Mennonite, but the fact that your clothing appears to have some sort of electrical cord feature warrants consideration. I am of the understanding that electricity is allowed "for business purposes", such as milking barns or business related computers. Your attire may fall under the category of "business suit", thus making the electrical modification allowable.
I wondered what sort of attire might need plugging in. The outer garments do not appear "flashy" in the least. I did find the following possibility: http://www.enlighted.com/pages/bras.shtml
I had previously considered your blog "a family blog". However, the elements of wine, plug-in clothing, and your neighbor taking photographs may lead me to re-evaluate that classification.
I must point out that, contrary to what appears in this photo, Lorraine's clothing is not, in fact, plugged in. The cord present connects to a dimmer control behind the sofa pillows for the floor lamp next to the sofa. I need now to rethink this design as it looks exceedingly tacky as documented. Dang these pictures that speak a thousand words...
Aaah, I get it...so the Neighb only had cocktails with active DNC supporters last night, huh? Guess I'd better start volunteering with Maria so that I, too, can have cocktails with her!

You look like you could run for the Senate.
Iwanski, I probably could. If it weren't for my mis-spent youth and total inability to remember anyone's name.
I think Y'all are misunderstanding. this is the Not Mennonite look. The Mennonenite look is in the link.
Trust me, honey. They get it.
