Ah, Charlie, yet another reason why, perhaps, you ought to go somewhere other than the South on your next US tour. Because up in these parts we do not smother everything in gravy nor do we fry everything we consume. The ham will be glazed (bourbon and brown sugar are involved) and baked.
But to go in an altogether different direction, I think that perhaps you might be a tad more kind to the fried up ways of Texans given that you come from the place that invented deep fried candy bars, eh?
