I Usually Never Miss a Chance to Par-tay
Holy cats. Guess what? I just realized that my blogoversary has come and gone. For some reason I thought it was the 25th but nope, it was the 11th. Sheesh.
Is it too late to have a party?

no, not too late!
i'll bring a cheese ball and crackers.
Fabulous. I've got some chardonnay that will go great with that. And I'll just quick whip up some tapenade. And some okra poppers...in case JP shows up.
Never too late...I'll bring the peanut butter.
Mmmm...peanut butter...why, that goes with just about everything, Sage!
It's never too late Cuz, you know that! Happy belated blogiversary!!
Fancy dress or casual? I had to show up not dressed properly for the occasion.
Oh, now, Cuz, you know you're always dressed to kill. Love those shoes, btw. Champagne? Here...let me get you one without peanut butter... (shoots warning look at Sage)
Better late than never!! Happy I'll have to see if I can find a babysitter... and I'll bring over some watermelon salsa!
Whoo hoo! I was totally prepared to bring a peanut butter ball tapenade and okra-cheese crackers, but I decided on lavender sachets (to keep the blog smellin fresh) aaaaand bacon. To dip in the peanut butter.
Hmmm, I do have to duck out at some point to do laundry. Make sure Sage keeps her clothes on (that girl sure likes to get naked!) and make sure disco ball keeps spinnin. Don't let Iwanski too close to flammable things and don't let JP be bitter about anything on this joyous occasion. I'm hoping Boskey will show up with some homemade cheese and MHP keeps her pants completely healthy.
How about some chile con queso dip??? Happy Blogoversary!!
Mmmm...fresh salsa....I'll make some quesadillas....
The laundry can wait, Sfoof...besides, I expect there will be plenty of spillage before the day is out. Might as well wait. Mind if I whip up some Rumaki with that bacon?
That looks yummy, Lost. I think there are some more chips in the pantry...and thanks.
i think this calls for martinis, margaritas and mojitos. something about the alliteration that will just make these drink names easier to slur together.
cheers!
quesadillas and cheese ball?
really now.
Thanks! I stole them on eBay.. And thanks, sans peanut butter would be lovely.
I left the asparagus & cremini in puff pastry on the stove top so they stay warm by the way. Just let me know when I ought to pass them around.
Three words, Danny...mmmmm....mmmmm...mmmmm...get yourself behind the bar, big daddy.
Anne, surely you're not suggesting there can be such a thing as too much cheese?
Doralong, perhaps we should get them now...we can laugh at The Spouse and offer something less than cheesy to Anne.
need pigs in a blanket? i got those!
happy versary.
Oh, dude, LOVE me some pigs in a blanket. No, Sage, I would not "care for some peanut butter on those". Have mo' mojito, dear.
Ba Ha Ha Ha (Note no W)
Are we still alive? Yes? Then party!!!
Grats on the 11th!!!
Uhh, okra poppers?
I love okra.
Peace
:+}
Happy Blogoversary, Lorraine! (((hug)))
So is there room in the fridge for the Oreo cheesecake? Or shall I just put it on the table and stand back?
:)
Anonyba...leave some of the okra poppers for JP...oh hell, eat all you want...I'll make more.
Syd, darling, you know better than to even ask that question. You, me, couch, 2 forks.
And here's me... the one guest that shows up empty handed... but I promise that two drinks from now I'll lead us all in a rousing rendition of "We are the World."
I'm bringing a deli platter 'cause I've really been craving sardines and poppyseed crackers
And liverwust in rye bread.
OH!,and smoked oysters and green olives too!..
Happy Blogoversay kid. :)
I love this party. specially the mojitos! ow ow!
Wheee! Happy bloggaversary!! I got stuck in traffic so there's only half a pan of brownies left, but, here ya go!
Somebody get Dana a cocktail. Two cocktails.
Mmmm, protein. Excellent choice there, my Sling. Did you bake this rye bread yourself?
Sfoof, honey? I love ya a ton but could you please put the lampshade back on the lamp? Thanks. You're a doll.
Thanks, Pamalamama...your brownies rock!
What a great party....If JP stuck in traffic? Someone who hasn't been drinking might need to go get him. He will be so bitter if he misses this.
Late again. Just a bunch of drunk people lying around and some cheese crumbs. Dang.
Screw being Healthypants--this is a special occasion calling for...
CHEESECAKE!
(Of course this former Wisconsin girl had to bring something with cheese! :) )
Happy Blog-O-Versary! :)
Damn! Someone's already bringing cheesecake...and quesadillas...and a cheese ball...
How 'bout some deep-fried cheese curds? Mmmmmm.....
Sage, that bastid. I just called his cell and he said something about...what? Oh, goodie, Bad Alice is here...no worries about the empty hands, dear...you probably haven't had a chance to unpack the crockpot yet anyway...it's ok...did you see the size of Sling's deli platter.
That's what she said.
'K, and MHP, I just sent out for some cheese pizza; you in?
Happy blogiversary. I hope the party is still going...
Bosk! Dude! Danny, hook 'im up. Sorry all the lampshades are taken. Sfoof doesn't listen as well as she plays Word Twist.
Here I am, showing up at midnight just like you told me to- Why is everybody plastered? What time did this party really start? Why is there no food left, except for peanut butter?
Dammit.
POOD.....(le!) Dammit, schweets, I said "!2"...like in "noon"...ya big silly....crap! 'k...tiptoe over Leah's head...over here near Slin...NO!...that's Danny's......
'K. I think there's some pigs in a blanket left...lemme just go see while you start cleaning that up...
Whew, what a shindig! Congrats on rocking your corner of the blogosphere so beautifully. Glad to see there are some cheez-its left.
Mmmmm...cheese pizza....
Well, damn....I missed the party and the great bed debacle. So....I'll just eat the rice krispie treats myself and drink and toast to nothing and toss my empty glass down (a little Joni there).
The world is a better place with your cleverness expressed to it.
Poo- I missed it too.
