YS did two papers on Marie Antoinette, so we watched two films on her - one by PBS and one by the Biography channel. I feel as though I know everything there is to know about her now (I read a bunch of stuff after the movies piqued my curiosity). I think I will enjoy the Kirsten Dunst film just for its entertainment value. The food, the parties, the gambling, the clothes...it should be great.
Yes, I think it sounds like quite the romp...not necessarily something one would use as a research reference but a fun interpretation...and the shoes!
