Bravo! Brava!
The show tonight was super fantastic. I am not kidding. Great, great show. Oh, and "Bye Bye Birdie" was really good.
I'm such a kidder. The musical theatah evening out with the fam was great. The Child was totally into the production, reacting in all the right ways at all the right places. Personally, I'd forgotten how many classic tunes come from that musical. "Put on a Happy Face"? Did you remember that? Anyway, it was just a swell evening of entertainment and we got home at 11:01, which means we missed the whole "The cylons were created by man..." ritual and "previously on Battlestar Galactica" but we got to see the evening's new story, which was quite, quite compelling for those of us who care and now it's beddy bye time.
Except for this:
Bloody good thing I go back to check the comments on jp's blog, isn't it, Gina?

Glad to hear you had a great evening. Going to the theater makes me feel so civilized!
Oh, it was evah so civilized, darling.
That song rocks.
It reminds me of being a kid hanging around Southern Cali in the summer of 1986.
Iwanski, you had a life in Southern California? I don't believe it.
I was a quasi-SoCal kid.
I had lots of summertimes there.
I have kick-ass awesome relatives there who would tolerate me for months on end back in those days.
Oh, you so totally ROCK! I'm so sorry it has taken me this long to see this, but if you look at my latest post, you'll understand... I love it! Glad you had such a great time, and that The Child was into it too. I really love "Bye Bye Birdie" too.
Glad you finally discoverd it, Gina.
I really had forgotten just how fun that video is. Thanks again!
