This is a drawer of my desk. Specifically, it is the drawer into which I stick everything I don't feel like dealing with at the moment. Call it my "In" drawer. Dealing with it was among the drudgeries that I tasked myself with facing today.
And this is what it looks like now. Huzzah, huzzah.
I have a collection of curious little widgets that I keep because they look like they belong to something important, but I don't know what. You're welcome to have some to fill that drawer up if you like.I'm just sayin'..
Sling, you are so sweet to offer. Actually, I have a widget drawer and there are presently no vacancies. But should I need one, I now know who to call. Thanks.
Grish, I used to stack everything, too. Except my desk is about 2 feet long. It just wasn't working. Of course, shoving stuff in the drawer until it can't close isn't much better.
It's scientific, Gina. Nature abhors a vacuum. I think this explains the creation of hot spots. "Oh, look! Shiny, empty surface. Must put down junk mail".

good for you!
now fill it back up
Honey, no offense, but I think I like Renee's comment better.
We have at least four of these type drawers in our house, and Eric is right. They fill back up.
Keep it to yourself, Iwanski. You're ruining my buzz.
Good fluffy...good girl
Thank you, dear.

I just stack everything up on either side of my monitor. Your way's better I think...

I am so jealous! It's my dresser at home that gets buried with stacks, and pretty much every available surface in my office. It's so sad.

Laughing my behind off over that statement, Lorraine! You hit the nail on the head!
