You know, it would be wonderful if all that lovely snow wasn't prefaced by such nasty ice and sleet down here. But they say we are supposed to get about 7 inches out here in the middle of Texas!

Go figure.

(But me and the Bear are home safe and snug whilst Hubby is out patrolling the 4 paved roads in the county. Hot cider mulling as we speak.)

Ice is the pits. Glad you are snug and warm...hope the Hubster gets to join you for some of that cider soon.

Thanks, Lorraine! We never lost power here in my little burg but our ice load is severe as is the damage to flora. Looks like a war zone. I feel lucky. I know our Amish community was laughing their asses off!
I've got pics going up on my blog that I took just yesterday.

I'm glad you didn't lose power, Greeny. I'm sure our snow is all the more enchanting for the simple reason that we can stay warm!

Isn't it, though, R7?

Isn't snow in places like Seattle one of the warning signs in "Inconvenient Truth"?
