Scenes from a Sunday Night

The Child, making the mundane task of unloading the dishwasher more exciting by pretending to be a rock star.

The actual snow on the actual deck which actually began to accumulate before it stopped snowing. The Child will, I assure you, be very disappointed when she gets up tomorrow because she is so counting on this as a trend. The Dog, however, will be very happy if this horrible cold white stuff is gone by morning. He does not enjoy being wet and cold.

l used to pray for snow over here as a kid- lots of it so we could get a day off school.
Cute picture of your lass singing-lol- sweet :)
Hope your Thanksgiving went well Lorraine, l could smell all that turkey from way over here :)
Nanny McPhee is a good film- my Sam loves it. Was his second only film he saw in the cinema- the medicine bit terrified him though-lol.

Brilliant!

Reminds me of a supermarket shopping game. Each time you embarked upon a new aisle, you had to assume the nationality of a person from a country represented by one of the products in the aisle. So if you went into the pasta aisle, you had to pretend you were Italian, and so on. Hours of fun!

Isn't life more enjoyable when you allow yourself to dispense with reality every now and then?

Horizon, As soon as school starts and the temps cool The Child starts praying for snow. It's a bit much. (The medicine in Nanny McP terrified me, as well!)

D: That sounds like the most fun game ever. Can't wait to play it. We're big on dispensing with reality around here.

C: In my delight at her general cuteness I didn't even consider that I was making a record of history. Wonder if this is how that chappie at Iwo Jima felt.

I want snow too!!! It is 60 here! Too warm for this time of year. And how do you get them to empty the dishwasher? I have to wait until they are actually out of dishes.

CM: Stick a headset on their heads and crank the tunes. At least, it worked this time.
