Speaking of Disclaimers
I find this interesting. I used to love this video. Watching it again today I thought, "Golly, that's pretty, uh, lame". Bits of it were just a little painful to watch. Sometimes, that whole story-telling thing people started to do in their videos got stretched just a bit thin. But, and this is a big butt, I adore this song and the artist so we're going to give it a pass because we've all had our moments.

I think it holds up pretty well. I was a big fan of the concept vs. performance videos.
But yeah, it's no She Bop.
I don't know...I'm not sure Cyndi really had her acting chops down yet. And that guy? But I love-a-love-a-love the song.
Well I agree that, that story might have sucked a little but I like the whole story/ video thing when it's done right..
I think that was her actual boyfriend. He was in a bunch of her videos, along with her mom and that guy who wrestled with rubber bands in his beard.
I totally heart Cyndi. Ready to get really jealous?
I had dinner with Cyndi and her sister at the 2005 Metro DC PFLAG Honors Gala. She was our "Spotlight Award" winner, and I got seats to her table because my company gave PFLAG lots of money.
She was very shy, but funny once she got comfortable with us all, and she sang an a capella "True Colors" during her speech that made everybody cry buckets and buckets.
Love. Her.
Grish, plus the little trailer is cute. I have a friend who has one in her back garden, as a little get away.
JP, now that you mention it, I believe that was her boyfriend at the time.
R7E, Hate. You.
Tee!
