HOLY CATS!
This just in: Karl Rove has been cited for contempt by the House Judiciary committee.
The charge stems from his failure to appear before the committee earlier this summer. It does not include charges for contempt of democracy, contempt of the Constitution, contempt of civil liberties or contempt of the electoral process. But it's a start.
Oh, sure, it could be that he'll never seen the inside of a courtroom let alone a jail cell but ding dong, I feel a happy dance coming on.

What a guy...I bet he doesn't see the inside of a jail either. THey have the life...make laws, break laws, remake the laws.
Ba Ha Ha Ha (Note no W)
I think that was how the jig was born. Happy dance. Better what, with terrible Ted Stevens the senior republican senator, indicted as well.
Another nice turn of events for the children of the world.
Peace

I'm going Bounty Hunter on his ass.
Meet me at eleven and bring rope.
True that he'll probably never do time, Sage, but the mere fact of a Bush high up finally getting any sort of law after him is a good thing. Pelosi says she won't bring it before the House until September...I'm thinking all a sudden that's because she doesn't want him found guilty before Bush has a chance to pardon the SOB.
Anonyba, yeah, the Stevens thing got my toes a tappin' even before today's news.
Iwanski, done. (runs to cut hair into a mullet and find a muscle shirt)
Come for the Project Runway recap --
-- Leave with the Hell Yeah! news flash.
Will the Dems stick to their guns? Will they wimp out in fear of Rove's "little bit o' crap I been holding onto should Repubs need a non-bomb October Surprise."

Desertwind, PR is coming up. And it will certainly be interesting to see what the Dems do now but I do know the grassroots is pushing hard on them to do the right thing.
Personally, the best thing you can do with a bully is stare him down. I say "bring it on"!
I would love it if he were put in a cell with a 400 lb guy that hasn't seen a woman in 10 years. THAT would be some reality TV worth watching!
Squeel piggy squeel!
This just makes me smile a big old turdblossom grin.
Twisi, I watched "Rendition" last night. There were some moves in there that might be nice for the old fella.
KA, I know, right? Because even if he never does a day of time just the whole notion of the committee saying, "You're not about the law, Jack" is pretty refreshing.
