Okay, so the Cardinal was just taking a little break from designing the frieze for his tomb (the Annoyance of St. Fatuus, which inexplicably involves a JuiceMaster and his crozier), and decided to take a wee gander at today's post on The Blog. What does he find? Like some butterfingers dropped the Rosetta Stone and was only able to piece back together the top third. Like cuneiform pressed into a dried mud tablet. An opague language that may or may not have something to do with music. No canons? Not a single motet???!!!* Fie, Madam!

*You can imagine the distress quotient that would engender a triple interrobang. Much like when the Cardinal failed to obtain the triple tiara again (Never you mind, Benedict, just move a little closer to the edge so I can get your whole miter in the viewfinder).
